Lane Cohee, PLLC

Dr. Lane Cohee is a project/program and business management trainer whose 35-year career spans business leadership, program management, systems engineering, and academic instruction. Through Lane Cohee, PLLC, he has delivered over 65 training courses to 2,000 corporate and government participants in the areas of project management, earned value management, risk management, organizational leadership, and business strategy.

From 2017 to 2024, Cohee served as Associate Professor of Management at Palm Beach Atlantic University where he delivered 50 management and business strategy courses to 1,000 undergraduate and MBA students. He also served as Associate Dean and MBA Chair from 2020 to 2023, leading the Marshall E. Rinker Sr. School of Business through its successful initial AACSB accreditation, an achievement attained by only approximately six percent of business schools worldwide.

Before entering higher education, Cohee completed a 30-year career in the defense and aerospace industry. During his final six years at Harris Corporation, he served as a program management executive and general manager of a business area generating $175 million in annual revenue and managing $1.5 billion in contract value. His responsibilities included profit-and-loss performance, program and product management, strategic planning, business development, and customer and supplier relationships. He also chaired the program management executive council for a $2 billion business segment comprising approximately 200 program managers.

Earlier in his Harris career, Cohee held positions of increasing responsibility in systems engineering and project and program management. He led large cross-functional teams developing and producing space-based, airborne, and ground systems valued from $30 million to $130 million. His earlier experience includes service as a systems engineer, integrated product team leader, and product acquisition manager with Titan-LinCom Corporation and the United States Air Force.

Cohee earned a Bachelor of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, an MBA from the University of Redlands, a Master of Engineering from the University of Colorado, and a Doctor of Business Administration from the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Harris Leadership Directions Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

Cohee is a member of the Project Management Institute® and holds its Project Management Professional (PMP®), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®), and Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP®) credentials.
